[music] For most of my life, the government's official position on UFOs, or what are now most commonly referred to as UAPs, was simple. Nothing to see here, folks. Well, that has changed. What you're looking at is real footage released by our own government. Some of it leaked out years ago and took the Pentagon three years to admit was real. The rest brand new. Since May, nearly 340 files have been dropped on a public website. Videos, photographs, documents, audio, some locked away for almost 80 years. The fourth batch landed just this week. Over a billion and a half people have gone to look. And here's the number that stops me. The government's own office says 40% of what's in there they simply cannot explain. Now listen, I I am not an expert in UAPs. I'm not an astrophysicist, but I'll tell you what I am an expert in, and that's human behavior. And what happens when you hand people a mountain of information with no context? Well, of course, they get confused. Some of them get scared. Some of them get downright paranoid. Or they're vulnerable to getting sold a story by someone with an agenda. Well, tonight is about none of that. Tonight is about how to think about what you're seeing. So, let's give credit where it's due. The lights finally got turned on, but somebody's got to help us make sense of the room. I mean, look, this can be overwhelming, and my two guests are exactly those somebodyies. Chris Melon spent nearly 20 years inside our intelligence community. He's the man who brought the first UFO videos to the public. And Bryce Zable wrote the book literally on what happens the day the government finally tells the truth. He wrote it 16 years ago. Buckle up and let's just get into it. So Chris, Bryce, thank you both for joining me today. Bryce, let me start with you. This is something that you were concerned about, you know, 15, 16 years ago. What context, what impact does this have when it all comes out? >> Well, I think it'll have an enormous impact on almost all aspects of our lives. I actually think uh that what you're doing is very important, thinking about how it's going to impact people. And I guess it depends on a couple of things, Dr. Phil. First of all, what is it that's going to actually be disclosed? And the second is at what time frame is it disclosed? For example, you know, I I live out here in Hollywood where we talk about uh slow dissolves or hard cuts. A slow dissolve is what you might say we're in right now where we're getting that drip of of these trenches that come out and more and more people are talking about it, but nobody has actually stepped to a podium like the president or the pope or the premier of China and said these things are real. That would be a hard cut. then we would be saying to ourselves, okay, now we have to deal with this reality all at once. So yeah, I think everything, every part of life, everything will be impacted. Whether it'll be changed for the better or the worse, I think will depend a lot on what you're thinking about right now, which is how are we going to handle it? Look, we've all operated under the uh kind of human exceptionalism sort of idea that uh human beings held dominion over the earth. We're the top of the food chain uh so to speak. And if in fact we're not alone in this universe and if someone uh some other uh being intelligent uh life form has visited the United States, I think by default they would be technologically superior to us in that it would take 2 and a half million years to come from the nearest galaxy at the speed of light. We can't travel at the speed of light. So, somebody's got some technology we don't have. And uh you know Chris, it was 2017 when you stepped up and shared some things with the New York Times that there's no other explanation than these have to be uh other than earthly because there are videos of aerial phenomenon that we don't have the capacity to do. And if people pay attention, uh, that's pretty compelling evidence. You did that in 2017, correct? >> Correct. And, uh, to this day, nobody has been able to identify those objects or provide an explanation, a prosaic explanation for what they are. They stand, uh, as our government has acknowledged um, unresolved and uh, >> [clears throat] >> uh, they remain a mystery. And the only hypothesis that works for most of us is that in fact they're products of some more advanced civilization. It's hard to come up with an alternative theory that works. >> What are we most likely in in your opinions dealing with here? >> I think that's the uh that's the big question. And I I the one thing I think we all need to take a step back and and and say about these trenches that are coming out is at least the documents and the videos rather that Chris was instrumental in getting out. We sort of have context around them right now because we know that the the major one was the Nemits case. We know where it was and when it was. A lot of these docu these videos that you like the one you just showed, the government is letting them out but without the data that goes behind them. And so we aren't quite clear on what the lessons are to learn about all those videos. But to answer your question specifically, everybody has a different opinion right now. Uh there are people out there, uh Dr. Phil, who are still saying, "Oh, no, it's got to be our technology." Now, I look at what I what I saw from those three videos that came out in 2017. I don't think they're our technology. And and even if they were our technology, we've been seeing things like this, Dr. Phils for as you said yourself recently for 79 years well back 79 years ago nobody had that technology I don't think the Chinese had an air force 79 years ago so I I just don't think that it is earthly technology we're talking about that doesn't mean it's extraterrestrial there are a lot of other explanations people are talking about but that I think defines the question of our times and why we're here right now it's like let's get let's get the facts out there on the table. Let's get the the scientists and the various people who can help us analyze them to work and let's encourage our government that has been studying this for nearly eight decades and maybe more to share their work with the rest of us. Well, that's what I mean when I talk about context because as you say, the government puts out now in these four different batches of information and the fourth one they released to me and and my team exclusively ahead of time which gave us an opportunity to really do a deep dive and and get into it and see what was there. And we were looking for context and you know really what we've had to do is provide our own context with our own independent experts. Like for example we know that there are limits to what the human body can can endure in terms of G forces, gravity forces. And you know, I think about the typical American, we refer to her as Betty in Idaho, who doesn't spend time digging into these things, who has no idea what 10 G forces are or a thousand G forces are and and what that would do to the human body and what kind of of structures we have, what kind of metallurgy we have and to see some of these things that we've seen which appear to be traveling faster than I guess the fastest vehicle we have is the Voyager in outer space and to see something that appears to be traveling 40,000 m an hour and make a 90 degree turn. We don't have that capability and we don't have anything to take care of the human body to to sustain the G-forces that would take uh that that the body would sustain making that kind of deceleration and turn. So Chris, that's why what you released in 2017 certainly got my attention and got me starting to study these phenomenon because I I don't care what anybody says. We don't even almost have that technology. Am I missing something here? If your retirement dropped 30% tomorrow, would you be ready? So many successful Americans turn to gold to help protect their retirement, and Preserve Gold is the only precious metals company I trust and recommend. Let me be frank, gold is not for everybody, and I do not give financial advice, but I do urge you to learn about a special offer to receive up to $20,000 in free gold and silver. Visit drillgold.com. I don't care what anybody says. We don't even almost have that technology. Am I missing something here? >> No, you're not. You're not. The the problem is in part that in order to meet the scientific criteria to say, "Yes, this is clearly beyond human technology." The scientists need to be able to replicate these findings independently and say, "Yeah, we're seeing the same thing with our instruments." And that hasn't happened yet. And the government has been tantalizing people with the videos, but often withholding a lot of the critical data, including one, their own analysis of the videos, and two, often times the speed and uh distance and those sorts of things that you need to calculate precisely what the accelerations are and that sort of thing. So, there's still uh gaps in information uh even though there's been a huge improvement and and much credit to the administration for putting more out, but there's a lot of important detail that's still missing that we hope the government will begin to provide so that uh scientists can fill in some of the blanks and we can get more authoritative uh readings. In the meantime, in some cases, we just have to say uh we don't know or we don't have from a scientific standpoint uh we're not in a position to make a categorical statement, but the intelligence community has different standards and different processes and we're hoping that the Congress will compel them to do what they typically do for the president and the White House and make an intelligence judgment on this, which is a different kind of standard. And it'll be very interesting to see if if uh Congress does insist on that, what that analysis and that uh what that looks like, if they produce a national intelligence estimate, for example. >> Doctor, just one one followup to what you just said though. If people want to understand what you were just saying in in really stark terms, come out to where I live in LA, go to Disneyland, go on one of those rides where they drop you and you you're just or a roller coaster where you're feeling that kind of pressure and now multiply by a thousand or 10,000 for some of these things. The these are these are simply impossible with physics as we understand them. That's the only point I would make. So at that point, we have to start looking for other explanations. That's part of the scientific method. >> I I would say in addition, Bryce, that not only were the G-forces far beyond anything that any human mechanical device ever built could survive, uh much less a a being inside of it. There was no sonic boom and there was no plasma with the tic tac. Both of which we would expect to see with a with a craft that that we've built. very very unusual, very strange, very hard to understand for our scientists. >> Are people interested in this? Well, there's been over 1.7 billion visits to the website that was established, 340 million in in the first 12 hours. So, are people interested in this? Yeah, I I I think they are. I think people are very very interested in this. And you know, when one of the things that I've talked about rather loudly, I I think is that the government has been lying to the American people for almost 80 years. And they've been lying by omission. And I believe they've actually been constructing a fictional reality to to misdirect people away from what is the truth. There are gun cameras, there's radar, there's all of these things that were available, but instead we saw somebody that was not trained telling outrageous stories and credible witnesses were being hidden, sequestered, suppressed, not allowed to speak. That's one context problem. The other is when we do see these things, they're grainy and we don't have data that gives us speed, trajectory, turn radius, things of that nature that would allow us to calculate G forces and that sort of thing. Both of those would be very helpful. >> Well, Dr. Phil, one of the things that I think we're all happy that the government is at least trying to put some stuff out. Some of it's already been out through the Freedom of Information Act. I see you got the Robertson panel document up there that actually uh was, you know, something that happened in 1953. We found out about it in 2001 thanks to the Freedom of Information Act. But finally more people are actually looking at it thanks to these these trenches being put out. But one thing I want to do, I heard you interviewed the other day and you said it just now for 79 years this kind of thing has been going on. So, one of the things that these trenches has helped us do is to put in perspective exactly the point you're making. In 1949, the private document that the government put out or that wrote for itself, not to be shared with the people said, "It must be accepted that some type of flying objects have been observed. It is firmly indicated there is no domestic explanation. the objects are a threat and warrant more active efforts at identification and interception. That's what they were telling themselves. But but Dr. Phil, in the same year in 1949, the same year, this is what they said in public. All evidence and analysis indicate that reports of UFOs are the result of misinterpretation, a mild form of mass hysteria, individuals who fabricate such reports, and psychopathological persons. Okay. So, your point is so well taken. There's been a twotrack thing that the government's been on for years where they're saying one thing to themselves, which is we better take this thing seriously. And to us, they're saying, "Yeah, you know what? Um, if you're if you're thinking of reporting something, don't because we'll you'll look foolish if you do." And I think those days are coming to an end. I mean, this is a good example of this show. >> Yeah. If I could if I could add a little beat to that bone, for example, just how prevalent these incidents were at very at our most sensitive facilities in 1950, the following year, Los Alamos reported over 200 UFO incidents in and around the facility uh in just the the last year or two prior. And these reports were almost entirely from scientists and military personnel and security personnel as well as some civilians. 30% of those were were discshaped objects. 30% were green fireballs and 30% were other. They were extremely agitated, extremely concerned about the the security uh risks involved with that. It was happening at other nuclear facilities as well. So there was a intense amount of activity at these sites and that has continued. Uh just a a year and a half ago, we had 17 consecutive days of objects flying over the Air Combat Command in Langley, Virginia to the point where they had to ex actually evacuate an entire squadron of F-22s because they couldn't fly them safely from the Air Combat Command itself. So the air combat command couldn't control its own airspace and had to remove our most advanced fighter aircraft which have a mission among other things to protect the nation's capital. So that's the level of activity that we're seeing and the intrusiveness. And if people wonder why we feel a degree of urgency about it, I think they need only look at the continuing level of of activity at at sensitive military facilities and DoD test ranges and that sort of thing. We we really need to figure out uh quite urgently uh who's behind this and what their agenda is. Since 1996, law enforcement agencies have been required to provide the public with information about convicted sex offenders living in their communities. Nearly a million people are on that list today. The idea was to create awareness to protect our families and to provide background information for employers about potential hires. But is it really an effective deterrent? This Thursday on the Dr. Phil podcast, I'll speak with a mother who discovered that a known sexual offender, someone on that list was working at her child's private Christian school. How could that possibly happen? We investigate on Thursday. One of the things I know as a person that's spent 50 years now and I can say that I admit I have thinning hair. U I've been at this for a while. So, but one of the core principles in psychology that we know is that the best predictor of future behavior is relevant past behavior. And what we do know is that we've been observing these things at least since 1947 is the oldest document that I've personally laid eyes on. I don't know that there aren't many before then, but the personally the first that I've looked at is 1947. So we know in the last 80 years there have been no overt hostile acts that we know about. That doesn't mean there could be things happening that are attributable to these forces that we don't know about, but we certainly don't have any attacks that we can attribute to uh these UAPs or whatever. And if the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior, I I think people can take some comfort in knowing that if they were going to melt us with a ray gun or something of that nature, they've had ample opportunity to do that. They may have been here a thousand years before we were here. Who knows what the situation is? But we do know >> that as long as we've been monitoring this and tracking it, there have been no overt hostile acts. And I think people can take some comfort in that and should >> they should um the only thing I would say is if we're dealing with a non-human intelligence or an NHI as we like to say now uh we'd have to assume that they think differently than us. So even in in our own world in the United States, we tend to think in four-year terms because of presidential terms, right? So you can't get something off the ground if it can't get done right away. Uh the Chinese may think in a hundred-year terms when they think about Taiwan or whatever. Um it's possible there are alien or uh nonhuman intelligences that think in a different time frame. If their time frame was a thousand years, then they could just be getting started. And on the topic of the nuclear issue, which I share concern of, I mean, I think the nuclear issue means it is at least a national security issue of some kind. Now, I've heard people talk about this, Dr. Phil, two different ways. Some people say, "Well, you know, they're looking at our nuclear capabilities because they want to protect us from ourselves." Okay, that's great. I hope that's true. But the other would be what do you do before you actually go to war with anybody is you do reconnaissance. You try to find out what the other guy has. What are their assets? What are their capabilities? So I think the problem that we need to overcome in this country is getting to a place where we understand this phenomenon that we're encountering enough that we can at least start to figure out intent. What is the intent? There have been people that have reported being abducted over the years. What's the intent behind that? Is it medical? Is it is it more nefarious? What is it? And so we got a lot of work to do. And I think that's why I am so supportive of your current efforts because you're basically saying, "Let's get started, people. Let's really take this seriously. Let's quit fooling around and and stigmatizing people that want to take it seriously and let's get to work. But let's get to work as a human race. Let's start sharing what we know and let's make progress." That's where I'm coming from, too. There's nothing worse than bringing your car to a mechanic and getting handed a massive bill. An unexpected expense that can max out your credit card or send your whole budget sideways. That's why I want you to pick up your phone and call Car Shield right now. Trust me, you don't want to wait until something breaks to find out you needed it. Call Car Shield today. I saw a study that said 71% of Americans believe that there are aliens that have been have been or are in our earthly space. And it's interesting. I I read that in one context that said, "Look, this is not going to be such a big deal if this gets verified." You know, there's one thing to say that in the abstract like, "Yeah, I think you probably there are. It's a whole other different situation." If you turn around and see somebody standing there, the gravity of it goes up a whole lot if it goes from the theoretical to the verified. And I I I hope that we are going to put enough context around this particularly knowing that there are segments of our population that are very vulnerable. There are some elderly uh folks that aren't up on technology and might be overwhelmed by the reality of this. We have certain populations that might be easily disoriented or destabilized uh in the mental emotional uh fringes of the population. And I I worry about those that are easily exploitable. You know, you need to get out of the urban areas, buy our buried school bus in the mountains, and you'll be safe forever. that you know the the con artists and the scammers are uh going to find every opportunity to pray upon those that are concerned and worried about this. And I think we need to be prepared to take care of those that might be destabilized by this information that's coming out right now. We can't pretend they aren't there. Uh we we've made those mistakes in the past like during COVID for example. There are those that are more impacted than others and we need to be prepared to handle that. >> A vulnerable group uh Dr. Phil is literally our children. The children of the world are going to have questions and and you of all people absolutely know how we handle those questions with our children uh in the years to come is is going to be very important. We need to figure out how to uh be honest with them, but at the same time uh assure them that we're doing everything we can to keep them safe and secure and that they're going to be all right. It's such a complex subject. We can barely tell ourselves what what's going on. So to try to tell kids is something else. The one thing I just wanted to put out there, people constantly do polls where they ask people, "Do you believe in UFOs?" And that's the wrong question because people tend to answer that one like they're being asked you believe in aliens. My answer is we all believe in UFOs. We've already agreed that UFOs exist. They're unidentified. They fly and they're objects. So the question isn't belief anymore. The question is uh trying to understand this phenomenon that has presented itself on our doorstep at least for 80 years and maybe as you pointed out earlier for thousands. We we uh recently uh commissioned a study by a group of six psychologists, PhD psychologists on this topic of how the public would receive this information. And it was generally very encouraging. And what they found was that uh the great bulk of the population as they have in the past with other uh ethical changes such as the capernican principle or evolution or general relativity it takes people a while to uh process this information. There's a period of resistance. But most people uh get up, get out of bed, go to work the next day. they're not uh they're not um devastated even though there's nothing quite comparable to this. Perhaps what the study did find is that there's likely however to be a subset of people maybe 15% of the population that are going to need some help and that we are not necessarily prepared in our in our present state to provide that kind of assistance and we need to be doing more to get ready for that and also to work on the messaging. The messaging is so important. Clear and consistent messaging from from the government. Trying to develop trust with the with the American people so that the information is is accepted and and acted on. Um, a lot of the difference will be people who can can't get their head around it even though they they really understand it, but because of their own belief structure, the architecture of their own belief structure for some reason in in their particular individual case, it's particularly threatening or disruptive. So there will be people who fall into that category uh according to this study who likely are going to need some some assistance to help deal with this because it is so far reaching and for some people potentially uh very frightening. >> That that's by the way where the concept of if you want to understand the future try to understand the past really comes in because u obviously certain things have happened in the past when we got bad news uh before we closed the banks. we uh shut down the stock market during the 9/11 attacks. Um we'll be doing some of those things. The one thing, Chris, that's interesting about the 15% though. Uh and we talked about this, my co-author Richard Dolan and I when we wrote this after disclosure book, which is okay, if 15% take it badly, 15% of the uh of the say the the gasoline truck drivers are included. What if those 15% don't go to work the next day because they're freaking out? Well, then you have that thing where suddenly there's a gas lines and suddenly the media is covering that and suddenly you feel like a sense of panic and now everybody is at Costco buying toilet paper and you know we know the psychological ramifications of some of this. So again it goes back to what's disclosed. If you were to tell me or someone else, uh, well, well, listen, I'm disclosing that Roswell is real, but don't worry, uh, all these things you're seeing flying around now are the technology we were reverse engineered and everything's fine. That would be one thing. But if you disclose, well, it turns out there's five different species here right now and that they all have different agendas. Well, that's a whole different form of disclosure. So again, I just don't know what the facts are and I really do think that we have some encouraging news in the current government that they are they seem to be willing to let us start having this discussion. I think it's all positive. >> The thing that bothers me is that the government has decided that they're going to substitute their judgment for our own. And look, I don't not for one second do I think that all of us citizens in the United States should be privy to tactical or strategic plans with Iran right now, for example, before it happens. We don't need to know that. We shouldn't know that. It would telegraph it to Iran or whatever. We we don't need to know that. We're not shouldn't be privy to that. But we're talking about a different situation here. And people forget sometimes, yes, the United States government is a big institution, but those people are no different than you or me. They were in a work a day world with jobs just like we have the day they were elected. And when they were elected, they were not imbued with some vision or wisdom that elevated them to some level that they could take over our decision making and our rights to make decisions and and handle information. And you know, I I've spent 50 years in this profession and helped people deal with the biggest challenges in their life. And I've seen their resiliency. I've seen their adaptability to get through things. They don't need to be lied to about this and they certainly don't need to be given some fiction about this. That to me just that just smells of a scop by this government to misdirect. I don't think it's right and I don't think it's necessary. If you look at the history of all this, you can sort of give everybody a pass for what happened in 47. Uh, I happen to think the Roswell case is an authentic case and there seems to be more evidence for that every day. Um, and if that was the case in 1947, just imagine what the world was like. We had just won World War II at enormous cost. Uh, it was the the worst cat catastrophe in our in the world's history. And so the idea that we would have to uh uh get on top of this issue first would seem to be a reasonable thing. And for Truman to turn the military loose on it, that [clears throat] also seems like a reasonable thing. Um but then as time goes on, you begin to say, okay, are we just going to keep this secret forever? And I think that's what we're all pushing back on. And so I wonder if there's a need for a different word here. We talk about disclosure. When people hear disclosure, they think, "Okay, well, somebody's going to come out and say, "Here's a a terabyte of video and audio and photos and documents. Go knock yourselves out." I don't think that's ever going to happen, Dr. Phil. But I think what could happen [clears throat] and should happen quickly is what I call confirmation. What I'm most interested in for our leadership to do is to confirm the basic fact. We're not alone. and that there's evidence of visitation of a non-human intelligence. And then they can parse it any way you want. And you you delineated a good way to look at it, which is obviously some things are going to remain classified in our nation's best interests. Uh but on the overall, whether we're alone or not, we're not going to hide that anymore. And in fact, we're going to try to bring in the scientists of our nation and the rest of the world and the leadership of of the world and try to work on this and and we'll get back to you. I'd be happy with that to be quite honest. That would that would take me a long way towards satisfaction. >> Let's take a quick look at at things that are pretty compelling. We have a submarine transmission video and this was from March 25th of 22. And what we're looking at here are these spiritual objects moving in and out of the water near a US submarine. And one bright object crosses this a frame, a second enters, and the sensors really struggle to track them both. Now balloons don't do water and they don't do air to water transition. And you know this probably isn't very interesting when people look at it to just see some kind of white flex going across but u talk about this. >> Yeah. So this is very very interesting. Um, beginning in 2015 with the USS Roosevelt, for example, uh, messages started coming back from the Carry Strike Group that was operating, uh, at one of our training areas off the east coast of these spherical objects, and USF-18s were encountering them almost every time they entered the training range. These appear to be uh further examples and they're about 6 to 15 feet across with a dark cube inside. Sometimes they fly in formation in V-shaped formations. Sometimes they fly have been recorded at supersonic speeds. Uh they don't appear to have not only do they not have wings, but they don't have an air intake. They don't have an exhaust. So there's no combustion propulsion or engineering going on. Very mysterious how they can do what they do. They seem to have virtually unlimited dwell time. And they were waiting for the F-18s sort of seemingly at the edge of this training area routinely and then would would often follow them in. So, in the famous gimbal craft video, for example, you can't see it, but there was a group of five or seven of these following the gimbal craft that dispersed when the Navy fighters showed up and they reformed after the Navy fighters left. So, this is one of the morphologies, one of the shapes that we're seeing a lot of these days. And you see a clear example of that in this case with the US submarine. A lot of activity at sea by by these around our Navy ships. I tried to explain at a dinner party what people were seeing. This giant sphere with a cube inside it flying around. This is hard to get your head around. And so that's why I'm on your side about let's get this better video out there. We know there is HD quality. We know there's 4K to 8K out there. Gun camera stuff. Why are we still looking at these images? Can't we have a few of the great images where it removes doubt and then we can get on with saying, "Okay, now we're on the same page. This is real. You can see it with your own eyes." Cuz these things, these are incredible things that people are reporting and always have been. >> Let's take a look at 2021. A Syrian UAP that shows instant acceleration. a Reaper drone locks on to an object near the Jordan Syrian border where an object instantly accelerates and vanishes. And Representative uh Burchett from Tennessee brought this uh into the public's attention a lot. Uh I've uh met with and spoken with Representative Burchett and he certainly finds this very interesting. But you you look at this and it moves out of the the central target and then the speed at which it accelerates just seems to be astounding. That's like a bullet for God's sakes. >> Yeah, it's there's a lot of dissatisfaction regarding the the grainy photographs and uh but of course the the military wants infrared uh cameras on these fighter aircraft. uh you know they're they're not mounting Hollywood type uh optics on there because they need to be able to see and fight at night and in smoke and in bad weather and that sort of thing. So that's why we get so many of these grainy type photographs. But there are also electrooptical systems that do have clearer uh photographs and images and I've seen some of them and uh we're specifically asking for those by name uh to be released and uh we the disclosure foundation of uh working with different offices on Capitol Hill in correspondence uh with the executive branch requesting the release of those higher quality uh images. Well, I am maintaining independence, but I am working with U. Representative Luna, Representative Burchett, uh the National Intelligence, the White House, and we should uh certainly get shouldertoshoulder in in trying to get some of these things released. The president wants this released. And let me ask you both kind of a final question and I hope this is the first of many conversations that we're going to have about this. But I have had those inside the government who tell me that information about this, knowledge about this, control about the information and knowledge about this is fairly fractionalized uh inside the government and that the president himself doesn't have all the information because the president not just the current president but all presidents are kind of regarded as temps, temporary employees that are there and they're going to be gone in a short period of time and that this information is highly guarded and I'm wondering do you believe there is somebody inside the government uh whether it's an elected official or an agency or whatever that does have control of all this information that could say we can confirm this and here are the top 20 reasons and evidence as to why and is this still being cloaked? Is this disclosure just a a teaser? >> I'll take a cut at that. Um first of all the the government is uh by no means uh uh united on this topic. There are many different factions. Most of them now are responding to the president's direction to start getting more information out. But we've seen a hidden hand that has repeatedly sought to suppress and remove information that uh that would help to clarify matters and might be definitive. For example, the radar from the USS Princeton in the Nimis case is seriously incident uh missing. The deck logs from the Princeton are missing for that exact period of time only. They're there prior to the Nimits incident. they're there post Nimage incident but they're missing for that period of time mysteriously. Um that kind of pattern has been going on for many many years and seems to be continuing. So, it appears there is an organization working a counter intelligence program to try to keep this concealed and prevent the uh the truth from coming out ultimately, whatever it may prove to be. >> Let me build on that on that Chris because um it is true we see evidence uh of the insider tugofwar. Um and it is true also that the government seemed to be completely in control of this issue for a while but there is a lot of evidence because of what Dr. Phil was just saying about uh the the idea of the temp employee uh being the president and some of our elected officials. Uh for that very reason especially when the freedom of information act came out there's evidence that there were some kind of cutouts from the government to private aerospace and private enterprise. And so a lot of the actual answers may not lie in the government like they used to. Uh when they do, they're obviously compartmentalized as well. Then there's also within our own government, you notice that there's a lot of Navy uh videos coming out. You're not seeing a lot of Air Force videos. There's there's been a historic difference between how the two of them have dealt with it. the Air Force. Um, and and Chris, by the way, you wrote a great article about this that delineated how the Air Force when we were asked to come up with stuff for this 2021 report, uh, when the services were, the Navy came up with most of the videos and the Air Force, I don't think came up with any of them. And that, uh, actually, Dr. Phil fits with an experience that I had in back in the 90s. is I had a TV series um about an alien invasion and we were approached by people who said they were from the Office of Naval Intelligence and they thought that we'd got a lot right in our series and one of the things that we had in our series is the cover up was run by the Navy not by the Air Force and they they were saying that's that got our attention. So I do think um you you have a couple of things. You have air force versus navy but then you also have government versus private enterprise. And I guess the the reality of this is while the phenomenon is mysterious and uh difficult to to understand so is our response to it. And I think if if anything we are going to spend the next few years picking apart how we've responded to it and trying to find out what it is we're even responding to. Let let me mention some examples of things that to date the Air Force has still not turned over. So we have multiple space surveillance systems. None of them have turned over any information about UAP. We have the most uh powerful radars in the world, a huge radar network that can see out into space. And none of that they haven't returned uh any data from that immensely powerful system. even when some of these incidents like the like the Nimttz case happened right in front of one of those radars on the west coast and yet they don't are turn aren't turning over any data from that system. The air force is responsible for managing air airspace and the security of the airspace and yet the data has been mostly coming from the Navy so very little from from NORAD. Um the uh satellite sensors, we know that there are satellite images of UAP. None of those have been released. And we know that because uh the current director of CIA when he was director of national intelligence admitted that on television, national television that we have satellite imagery of UAP, which is probably not fuzzy, but very clear optical data. So these are each examples of still untapped reservoirs of information, not to mention the ultimately decisive issue of have we recovered physical debris? And if we have, then of course that's proof positive and it's game over. Um and and that's something that that we're working hard. Um just the other day, Dr. Avi lobe who's now running the government science panel on UAP was told by acknowledges he was told by a former official of Loheed Martin that they do indeed uh have such materials uh or have had such materials which tracks with sources that that I and and others have and people that have made some public comments uh on that issue. So, um, that that is, uh, getting back to the Roswell incident again or incidents like it and and that remains unresolved and potentially decisive. >> Well, no doubt. And you know I if that can be made available and there is uh proper chain of custody uh where all of this can be properly scientifically authenticated you know it is game over. Chris let me ask you final question. Is there any doubt in your mind as to whether or not uh we are alone uh in this universe and on this planet? >> There's no doubt whatsoever in my mind. We are not alone in the universe. I view that as mathematically and scientifically impossible. Everything that we know from science and astronomy, the entire trend throughout history has been that the more we learn, the more we realize how average we are, not how different and special we are. Our solar system is just an average solar system and an average galaxy with an average composition. Nothing whatsoever abnormal about it except possibly us and probably not that either. So, uh, with regard to the the UAP operating on our atmosphere, there's no doubt in my mind that some percentage, some small percentage are not created by the United States or our his rivals in China or Russia. Uh, there are some that the capabilities that some of our Navy pilots have said who are scientists and engineers themselves as well as top gun pilots. Uh, we're a long way. my friends at the Loheed Martin skunk works. I mean, I've t done a lot of checking in a lot of places and everywhere that I go, the engineers agree there's not a chance in the world that that tic tac was made by us. >> Bryce, I'll ask you the same question. Any doubt in your mind as to whether or not we are alone? I I I I have to just echo what Chris said. And so let me build one thought, a final concluding thought on top of that. I don't think whoever's here, this NHI, is here because we're average or insignificant. As some people like to say, well, you know, why would they care about us? Well, they're here. Okay? I think they're here because we are interesting. I think that our planet has billions and billions of species out there and life is abundant on Earth. We are very interesting. Number one. Number two, this is just a hypothesis, but be but it applies to humans. I think all intelligent life must be interesting to all other intelligent life. And because we're interested in other intelligences that are out there, I'm sure that others are interested about us. I think that's the explanation for why they're here. Uh because diversity of of biology and life forms is fascinating. And um I think we should look forward to this contact uh becoming more formal and open in the future. And and I hope it I hope it does. And let me just conclude, Dr. Phil, and say thank you. Uh thank you for the commitment that you're making to bringing this subject forward because you know someday they're going to have to rewrite all the history books and this is going to be a huge moment in in the world's history. And um it's it's kind of humbling for all of us to be a part of it. But let it begin now. >> Yeah. I'd like to join in thanking you Dr. Phil for for putting attention on this as well and say that I agree with Bryce and I think any really advanced civilization is likely to be driven by intellectual curiosity uh much as as we are. And uh so I I concur with that. >> Well, I I thank you both for uh having this conversation. I I've got about 40 pages of things I wanted to cover with you. I'm on page three and a half. U so I I hope we can talk more about this. I I feel like we have a duty to the population to inform them and do so with context. I I think one of the worst things that can happen with people is to feel like they're a passenger. to feel like they're helpless in the process. And and I don't think that's the case. I think people do have agency here. And I do think they have a a choice. You know, Victor Frankle said it, I think, as as well and profoundly as anyone when he wrote about his time in Oswitch and says that the one thing they couldn't take away is his attitude that he took about uh what was happening in his life. And people have to make up their mind about whether they are fearful of this u paralyzed by it or excited by it. And at this point I hope people are curious. I hope they remain that way. And um and for those among the population that are are really destabilized by this kind of conversation or this potential reality, I think we need to be prepared to help them put a frame around this and and help them accommodate to it. Uh that's endemic upon us to do and I and I think we can and I think we will rise to that challenge. I hope we can continue this conversation because I I think people will find comfort in learning about this and not in a sensationalistic way, not in an overly dramatic way, just just learning what's going on. I think they'll find comfort in that and it'll spark conversation. So, thank you both for taking this time and I look forward to when we can discuss it some more. >> You got it. See you again. >> Thank you very much. It's a pleasure being here and uh greatly appreciate the opportunity. >> And here's your takeaway. For 79 years, the people who saw something and said something were ridiculed into silence. That wasn't an accident. That was a strategy. Make the topic a joke and nobody credible dares touch it. Well, the joke's over. More disclosures are coming and I'll be right here to help you sort out what's real and what's not. So when they drop, stay curious, not fearful. Demand evidence, not hype, because the American people can handle the truth, and they deserve the truth. You deserve the truth. Take care of yourself. Take care of each other. And I'll see you next time. Good night. And don't forget, you can watch all new [music] episodes of Dr. Phil on Envoy TV and Envoy Fast. Just go to envoyetv.com for more information.
