The viral Reel is about a real source trail: a fireball was reported over the Southwest, a Las Vegas police bodycam captured a streaking light, and a family called 911 saying there were large “non-human” beings in their backyard. That makes the case worth filing. It does not prove aliens.

What the Reel claims

The Scarecast caption says the “Las Vegas Backyard Incident” began when a family called 911 after reporting two large, nonhuman figures in their backyard. It says Angel Kenmore described 8–10 ft beings, says later independent video analysis claimed possible cloaked shapes behind the gate, and says Angel later believed the entities may have been demonic rather than extraterrestrial.

What is solid

The strongest non-social anchor is the sky event. The American Meteor Society’s event 2408-2023 records 23 reports of a fireball seen over Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah around 06:48 UTC on May 1, 2023. KLAS / 8 News Now reported that around 11:50 p.m. local time on April 30, a Las Vegas Metro police officer’s body camera recorded something streaking low across the sky.

The second solid anchor is the 911/police-response trail. ABC7/ABC News reported that Las Vegas police released bodycam and 911 audio from officers responding to a family that claimed a UFO crashed in the backyard. The reported caller said two large figures were in the yard, 8–10 ft tall, with big eyes, and “100% not human.”

What is not proven

The leap from a fireball plus frightened eyewitness call to “aliens” or “demons” is not established. ABC7 reported that responding officers found no sign of creatures and that the case was closed as “unfounded” after a preliminary investigation. Later analysis claims — including Scott Roder’s claim that the video is original and shows figures or cloaking-like effects — should be treated as analysis claims, not as an official or peer-reviewed alien verdict.
